NFC North News Week 4

Another good Week in the NFC North as it looks to be the dominate Division this year.

Chicago Bears

After a tough loss to divisional foe Detroit, the Bears look to rebound against the New Orleans Saints. I wasn’t to impressed with how the Bears handled the run game, allowing Reggie Bush to rush for 139 YRDS along with 34 receiving YRDS. After coming off a 38-17 victory at home against the Dolphins, the Saints should be fired up for a tough game, as the Bears need to rebound after almost coming back to beat the Detroit Lions in a 40-32 game that didn’t feel that close for most of the game.

Detroit Lions

With a big Performance by Reggie Bush last game, resulting in 139 rushing yards resulting in an average of 7.7 yrds per carry and 1 touchdown, the lions out preformed the Chicago Bears for most of the game. With the exception of a 4th quarter collapse, allowing the Bears to get within 8 points, the Lions looked good running and throwing the ball. The Lions will play the Green Bay Packers next week.

Green Bay Packers

After coming off a bye week and starting 1-2, the Green Bay Packers are hungry for a win, lucky for them, there next opponent is divisional rival, the Detroit Lions. The Lions are coming off a divisional win against the Bears, and are in first place in the NFC North, the Packers are in 3rd, with the 1-3 Minnesota Vikings as the last team in the division.

Minnesota Vikings

After throwing in Matt Cassel against the Steelers in London this Sunday, we may have seen a quarterback battle with  Christian Ponder still banged up with rib problems. Cassel threw for 248 yards resulting in 2 touchdowns. Adrian Peterson was also a key factor in the game with 23 carries resulting in 140 yards and 2 touchdowns. Minnesota has a bye this week, and will play the Carolina Panthers next Sunday.

    • I’d love to see the packers win this. It’s still tough rooting for a divisional foe to win a game. But if the Packers win, and Chicago does as well, the Bears will be in first place again.

    • I have the Packers. If Aaron Rodgers can play better than stafford, and Green Bay can do a better job against Reggie Bush than what the Bears did. I think they have a good chance to win
