The Chicago Bears suffered another key loss, this time on defense. They will be without the service of one of their key defensive players for an extended stretch.
Bears Linebacker Lance Briggs, will miss up to 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Washington Redskins .The injury will not require surgery.
Briggs, 32, has recorded 64 tackles and two sacks for Chicago this season, and has not missed a regular-season game since 2010.
The Bears (4-3) have their bye this week.
