Chock up another high caliber player to the list of players who could be on the move by Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. EST.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports is reporting that the Vikings defensive end Jared Allen could possibly be traded “for the right price.”

While that sentence generally applies to most players on the block , there’s reason to believe it particularly applies to the likes of Allen.  He’ll be in the  the final year of a contract that pays him a base salary of around $14.2 million, which means that he’ll be due $7.5 million over the rest of the year.

Glazer says the “right price” is more than just a third-round pick, which could be more than a team would be willing to pay a guy in the final year in his contract, unless a new deal would be incorporated into the deal.
